On 10 May 2019, between 19:00 and 21:00 Keep Floyding will perform some of progressive rock's most extraordinary songs at the Aquincum civil town amphitheatre!
A 20-year-long dream of the Keep Floyding band will come true on the evening of 10 May 2019. They will reconstruct Pink Floyd’s 1972 Italian concert performed and recorded among the ruins of Pompeii, in the most authentic setting possible: at the Aquincum civil town amphitheatre. Keep Floyding will play some of progressive rock’s most extraordinary songs in front of an audience of about 1000, between 19:00 and 21:00 as the sun sets on the amphitheatre. The band seeks to reconstruct the setting of the original recording, with one major difference: the audience can attend this concert!
The band will perform the original Pompeii songs, followed by a selection of Pink Floyd’s greatest hits from later albums including the Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall!
