The BHM Aquincum Museum and Archaeological Park can be visited during the 23 October long weekend as follows:
23 October 2025 (Thursday – National Day) OPEN: In honour of the National Day, the museum can be visited free of charge.
24 October 2025 (Friday) OPEN
25 October 2025 (Saturday) OPEN: Free entry for visitors under 26 and maximum 2 adult close relatives accompanying children under 18
26 October 2025 (Sunday) OPEN
Opening times
Exhibitions: 10:00 – 18:00
Archaeological Park: 9:00 – 18:00
Last entry at 17:30.
The closing of the museum starts at 17:40.
From the end of daylight saving time until 31 October, the exhibition buildings of the archaeological park, as well as the House of the painter and the Symphorus mithraeum close before sundown.
Other changes
On 31 October 2025 (Friday), on account of the Samhain – Celtic Halloween event, the museum will be open from 16:00 to 23:00.
On 1 November 2025 (Saturday – All Saints’ Day) the museum is closed.
From 2 November 2025 (Sunday) winter opening hours are in effect.
