AmfiFeszt (08-10/09) Pacsirtamező St. 2-14

Where? Aquincum Military Town amphitheatre (Budapest, District 3, Pacsirtamező utca 2-14.) When? 8-10 September 2023.

During the AmfiFeszt, the Aquincum Military Town amphitheatre (Budapest, District 3, Pacsirtamező Street 2-14), comes alive this year as well! Gladiators, Roman soldiers and barbarian warriors will populate the amphitheatre of the ancient settlement on this early-autumn weekend!

Visitors can see how the superstars of the arena – the gladiators – trained and clashed, they can witness the battles of Roman legionaries and Barbarians and can learn about the customs and lifestyle of the people living within and beyond the borders of ancient Pannonia.

The three-day ancient festival, which begins on Friday, 8 September with an historical procession from Óbuda’s Fő Square, also offers crafts workshops and demonstrations, a beauty salon, an ancient fair, a gladiator school and much more!

Free admission!
