Exhibition closing event – A 7000-year-old message: Remains of the Neolithic world in and around Budapest

On 16 December 2021, we are organising guided tours and arts & crafts workshops connected with the theme of our temporary exhibition A 7000-year-old message: Remains of the Neolithic world in and around Budapest, which closes at the end of December.

16:00-19:30: Arts and crafts workshops: basket weaving, stamp making, bracelet weaving from flax, pottery bead making, body painting*
17:00-17:45: Guided tour of the exhibition A 7000-year-old message (in HU)
19:00-19:45: Guided tour of the exhibition A 7000-year-old message (in HU)

Visitors can also taste a body and soul-warming herbal potion.

Entry is free, but visitors must register in advancet ➡ aquincum@aquincum.hu. Registration closes at 12:00 on 14 December. We can receive no more than 50 visitors.

As of 1 November a mask covering the nose and mouth must be worn at the museum. To enter, visitors must show their (Hungarian state issued or recognised) immunity certificate and personal ID document. 

* arts and crafts workshop participants must first purchase an arts and crafts ticket: basket weaving 900 HUF, stamp making 600 HUF, bracelet weaving from flax 600 HUF, pottery bead making 300 HUF, body painting 300 HUF
